Meet our Staff!
Troy Corless - Barn Manager
Troy spent much of his early life around horses. Having two older sisters who were also equestrians, some of his first memories involve being in the saddle. If he wasn’t riding, he was often grooming or tending to his families small herd. He considers the start of his career as a professional horseman to be the summer of 2013 when he moved from his hometown of Coldwater, MI to start a job at a guest ranch north of Steamboat Springs, CO. He spent four and a half years working to gain a higher understanding and ability of all things related to the horse. In the Spring of 2016, Troy attended a horseshoeing school to continue his equine education and is still a part time Farrier. Troy began his employment at Meadowbrook Ranch in February of 2018 and is happy to take up the responsibility of managing the barn!

Rachel Cain - Barn Worker
Rachel has spent most of her life in Colorado and has been working for Meadowbrook Equestrian Center since 2016. She has a passion for working with animals, even from a young age. She went to school at Oklahoma State University and graduated with an Animal Science degree in 2014 and has been working in the animal and pet industry ever since. Horses have always been close to Rachel’s heart. She has volunteered and worked for therapeutic ranches, kids and family riding camps, and ranches all of her adult life. Rachel owns a 4 year old horse that she adopted from a local horse rescue and has been training him to become an awesome pack and trail horse. Rachel’s favorite part about horses is having opportunities to start and train young horses. Working at Meadowbrook has been the most rewarding experience and she claims that she will never leave!
